must be your skin i'm sinking in
must be for real cause now i can feel
and i didn't mind, it's not my kind
it's not my time to wonder why
everything's gone awry and everything's grey
now you're here, now you're away
i don't want this, i remember that
i'll never forget where you're at
don't let the days go by
glycerine
i'm never alone, i'm alone all the time
are you alone, or do you lie
we live in a wheel where everyone steals
but when we rise it's like strawberry fields
if i treated you bad, you bruised my face
couldn't love you more, you've got a beautiful taste
don't let the days go by
could've been easier on you
i couldn't change though i wanted to
could have been easier by three
our old friend fear and you and me
glycerine, glycerine
don't let the days go by
glycerine
i needed you more
you wanted us less
could not kiss, just regress
it might just be clear and simple and plain
well that's just fine, that's just one of my names
don't let the days go by
could've been easier on you
glycerine

Act V. THE TRUTH. (Love is hard work. And, sometimes, hard work can really hurt.)
Love is a game. If they didn't tell you before, we will tell you now. Love is a game and if you play you either win, lose, or get ejected before the game is over. There are no ties. Maybe you'll lose and learn some great, meaningful answer from it all (like if it looks to good to be true, it is). It's easy to love something when you don't have to work at it. It's harder when it asks something of you. You just might be afraid to give. Give it anyway. The heart is the most resilient muscle. It is also the stupidest. So if this love you've found is good to you, hold it, keep it, shout about it. If it isn't, then maybe you should just become very good friends. |
